A simple app to explore a family of monochrome patterns known as AA-Bitmaps.
This small application allows the user to browse through AA-Bitmaps, an infinite set of ornamental monochrome pixel patterns. You draw patterns by entering one or two parameters representing sequences of bits.
As all AA-Bitmaps are made up of only 4-distinct rows and only 4-distinct columns, they can all be woven in 4-shaft looms. See the paper at http://archive.bridgesmathart.org/2013/bridges2013-263.pdf.
Currently the application supports sharing (e.g. by email) snapshots of up to 1024x1024 pixels.
