Check out and search the entire Indian Consumer Protection Act. The Consumer Protection Act, 1986 is an act of Parliament of India to protect the interests of consumers in India. It provides for establishment of consumer councils and other authorities for the settlement of consumer disputes. The Central Council promotes and protects the rights of the consumers such as:-
1. the right to be protected against the marketing of goods and services which are hazardous to life and property.
2. 상품 또는 서비스의 품질, 수량, 효능, 순도, 표준 및 가격에 대해 알리고 불공정 무역 관행으로부터 소비자를 보호 할 권리.
3. the right to be assured, access to a variety of goods and services at competitive prices.
4. the right to be heard and to be assured that consumer's interests will receive due consideration at appropriate forums.
5. the right to seek redressal against unfair trade practices or restrictive trade practices or unscrupulous exploitation of consumers; 그리고
f) – the right to consumer education.
