While it may not be the most popular resource package, if it still sits in a thousand downloads, Cubix is a very high-quality resource package. Minecraft's definition feature is that it has a lot of art styles, and the goal of most resource packages is to change this art style and make the world look more realistic. However, Cubix takes a completely different approach. Rather than turning the blocky art style into a more realistic one, this resource package forces Minecraft, and surprisingly, it can lead to some very spectacular visuals.
One thing we really like about the Cubix resource package is that its texture is the cleanest one we have seen. The level of detail in the texture is not very high, but they are absolutely no noise and for this reason they look very smooth. Apart from that, the Cubix resource pack has a bright and vibrant color palette that helps take things to a completely different level.
It is important to remember that even if this package has been out for a lot of time, it is still a work in progress, so several textures are lost from it. The Cubix resource package is already built at x16 resolution, which is great for players with low-end PCs, as low resolution does not cause damage to the hardware and leads to high frame rates.
