PardonMe is an easy to use accent reduction app that has been created with Charlotte Grundy, a professionally trained English actress, voice over artist and presenter in Cambridge, England. This app uses proven methods taught in English Drama Schools.
PardonMe is unique in allowing you to listen along, record yourself and even view your face alongside Charlotte in order to perfect lips and tongue placement for each individual sound of Southern British English, also known as the Queen's English and BBC English.
PardonMe is as close as you can get to a one on one lesson.
The PardonMe course is broken up into modules for long vowels, short vowels, diphthongs and consonants. In each lesson there is a tutorial on how to create a specific sound with correct placement of the lips and tongue. That sound is then integrated into words, sentences and tongue twisters for you to practice at your own pace in your own time.
