Free Online Travel Writing with Photos, Map and Trail
With Pindat you share holiday adventures via www. Pindat .com. At Pindat you can easily create a travel blog with unlimited photos and an access code to shield your travel stories for the outside world.
With the Pindat app you can very easily write stories and add photos to your travel blog when you're offline. As soon as you are online again you can easily put the reports online. All your followers will automatically receive a message from your new adventures and can follow everything via the website. Friends and family who follow your journey do not need an account, and can therefore always respond. So nice (and easy; p) for the grandfathers and grandmothers!
By specifying exactly where you have been per travelogue on the map, a nice trail of your trip is created. This trail can be viewed on the website. You can also shield your travel report with a password, invite friends from your address book, and make a nice overview of your journey.
Write your story offline!
With the Pindat app you can make offline travel reports. As soon as you are back at the hotel or are enjoying a cup of coffee in an internet café you can upload the stories. By using the GPS in your mobile you can place super precisely your pins. Furthermore, you can also easily use pictures of your phone, or (if you have a card reader in front of your phone) even the pictures of your camera. All pictures are first reduced and then sent to Pindat . So uploading your adventures never takes long.
How does the app work?
The first time you start the app you have to log in to your Pindat .com account. Your current travel stories are downloaded and you can immediately start writing stories via the app.
For example, if you are at Stonehenge (without internet;-p) you start the app and click on Work Offline. Click on 'New Pin' to add a pin and activate your GPS. After your GPS signal you will see the exact location on the map. Enter the data from the pin and write a nice story.
Are you back at the hotel? Start the app and log in to your account. All offline stories are now automatically uploaded to Pindat .com. Your family and friends can immediately enjoy your adventures.
PIN without GPS
First enter the address of the location where you want to place the pin. Then click on 'Determine the address' position'. The pin is now placed on the coordinates of the entered address.

Are you in one place but you don't know exactly the address? Or do you just want to place a pin quickly? Then use the 'PIN Determen address' button. The address of your pin is downloaded and filled in at the pin.
Pin -drag
You can also drag the pin yourself. Hold down the pin for 3 seconds. The pin jumps now and move your finger over the map to move it. Let go of your finger to pin again!
Pin
Go to the list of pins and hold down the pin that you want to share for 3 seconds. You will then see the 'pin parts' option. Choose this option and then choose through which program you want to share the PIN. You can only share Pins if you are logged in to your account.
Remove pins
Go to the list of pins and hold down the pin that you want to delete for 3 seconds. You will then see the 'Delete' option. You can only delete Pins online if you are also online.
Photo
Hold down the photo you want to run for 3 seconds. A menu now appears, choose that menu for turning the photo.
Delete photo
Hold down the photo you want to delete for 3 seconds. A menu now appears, and choose 'Delete' to remove the photo.
