Al-Jami 'or commonly known as the Sahih Muslim Book is a book (book) of the Hadith Collection composed by Muslim Imam (full name: Abul Husain Muslim bin al-Hajjaj al-Naisaburi) who lives between 202 to 261 Hijri. He is a student of Imam Bukhari.
This hadith collection among Sunni Muslims is the second best collection after Sahih Bukhari. Of the around 300,000 hadiths he collected, only around 4000 had been studied during his life and was acceptable to its authenticity.
Sahih Muslims are divided into several books where each book consists of several chapters. The title of the chapter shows the fiqh of Muslim Imam against the hadiths contained in it. Sahih Bukhari together with the Book of Sahih Muslims is referred to as Ash-Shahihain (two Main Reference Sahih Books). In compiling his authentic book, Muslim Imam does not give a number. Later the number was added to the Muslim Sahih to facilitate the referral of the hadith
