The new version of the app is here! 1 We have completely revised the app in the past few months, improved a lot and added new areas (e.g. the forum, the editorial team and photos).

A better chat function was particularly popular. This is now there!

Click on the speech bubble in the buddy list and start a chat with your buddy!

The application enables you, among other things:

- Chat with your buddies and other members to send and receive messages

- display your online and offline buddies

- Read and write in the forum posts

- Read our articles about interesting events in and around Ulm

- view photos of the events in the region

- to look at the profiles of all users on the go

- to write guest book entries in these profiles

- to set your current status and look at the status of other users

-Free push notifications for incoming TU news (very battery-saving)

- The complete Team-Ulm Location Guide including reviews and Google Maps Support for all trendy discos, cafes, restaurants and pubs in and around Ulm

- The Xinedome cinema program including film descriptions

- access the current party tips

- ...and much more.

Explanation of the Android rights / permissions:

- GPS / location: In the location guide we can use it to determine your position to find cafes, restaurants, pubs and discos near you.

- SD memory: Here we save profile pictures and pictures of locations so that they do not have to be constantly recharged. This saves in data transmission.

- Read accounts: For the delivery of push messages, the app needs this authorization to query whether your Google account is available. No data is read and sent here!

What's new in the latest version 2.3

Last updated on Aug 5, 2015 version 2.3:
- Online display in the chat (green/red bar in the upper area)
- Help if you have any questions
- List of usernames searched so far in the search
- SSL pinning for improved security (NSA GO Home!)
- Smaller improvements here and there

Version 2.2.1:
- Reception of the push messages improved (via Google Play Services). This is also the reason for the additional justification ("your accounts"), which does not read any private data.
